MORE THAN CLEATS

At Cleats Across America, the donation of a pair of cleats is more than just providing gear to play the game. It is a chance to alter the course of ones life by lowering the bar to entry for competitive sports thus al- lowing them the opportunity to experience brotherhood, develop character, and become better members of society.

“Participation in sport is linked to higher grades, lower dropout rate, reduced truancy and lower crime rates. This manifests in some com-pelling statistics such as:

95% of Fortune 500 executives participated in high school athletics. 96% of dropouts in 14 school districts in seven regions of the nation were not participating in an athletic program.” *Statistic provided by Athlete Assessments

OUR MISSION

Cleats Across America Charity collects donations of new and used football cleats as well as monetary donations from corporations, indi- viduals, schools and faith-based organizations. To insure that children get what they need. We provide inner city schools and other organi- zations in which work with children the special gift of a voucher. These vouchers are then given directly to the parents of that child. The parents can then use the voucher on our website and get a pair of cleats for their child.

50 YEARS LATER, WE’RE STILL FRIENDS…

“We are lifelong friends. The players are #32,10,1, and 20. We have been friends since we were all in kindergarten. We remain so still now that we are all roughly the age of 50. We all started playing football together in the street at one of our homes, eventually moving up to organized football starting in the 3rd grade. We played all the way through high school. I believe that the long lasting relationships that have lasted throughout the years were forged on the football field. Us four guys, along with others are brothers due to this awesome game. I love these guys and the game of football.”
